Tochni to host the MBS Bliss Retreat

mbs retreat 2

A weekend getaway in the charming Tochni village is what April is bringing along with well-being practices, meditation, yoga, tai chi, cacao ceremonies and all sorts of practices for mind, body and spirit. Those three words might ring a bell and it is because the retreat on April 8, 9 and 10 is being organised by the Mind, Body & Spirit Festival team who instead of the annual spring festival are this year hosting the MBS Bliss Retreat.

“The MBS Bliss Retreat experience,” they say, “will give you everything you need to feel rejuvenated, refreshed, energised and ready to welcome spring!” Festival or not, the MBS Cyprus establishment celebrates 20 years in 2022 and the retreat is here to honour all of the events they have held up until now and be another excuse for like-minded people to gather and spend three days sharing mindfulness practices.

Housed in some of Tochnis’ stunning agrotourism homes, the three-day programme has a packed agenda. Day one will ease into the retreat slowly, welcoming guests with a ceremony and dinner. Day two, the highlight of the retreat, will include numerous types of yoga sessions, meditations, tai chi, face sculpting and a cacao ceremony and sound healing session to end the night. The final day of the retreat will again include a yoga class for all levels, breakfast and a closing ceremony as activities wrap up around noon.
