Anastasiades heads to Montenegro

extraordinary meeting of eu leaders on the ukraine and russia situation, in brussels

President Nicos Anastasiades will travel to Montenegro on Monday evening following an invitation from its president Milos Dukanovic.

The leaders and the heads of their delegations will discuss bilateral relations, developments on the Cyprus issue, Turkish aggression against Cyprus, developments in Ukraine and EU-Montenegro relations.

On Wednesday the president will also meet Montenegro’s Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapic and visit the old city of Kotor, the Maritime Museum and the marina of Tivat.

He will be accompanied by Andri Anastasiades, government spokesman Marios Pelekanos, under-secretary of the president Kyriakos Koushios and shipping deputy minister Vassilis Demetriades, who will meet with his counterpart.
