Coronavirus: Move to provide more Turkish Cypriots with EUDCC certificates

covid

The health ministry announced that it will increase efforts to provide Turkish Cypriots with EUDCC Covid-19 certificates, but reiterated that they must first fill out an application.

It said that applications will be accepted on a priority basis for those travelling and in age brackets, stating that younger groups will get theirs first.

As of Monday those aged 18 to 20 will be handled.

The ministry said that Turkish Cypriots must apply at https://edvc.moh.gov.cy/ and that “age limits will be gradually extended from younger to older ages, in order to cover all ages within a reasonable period of time.

“This extension will not be preceded by any announcement, therefore those interested are encouraged to visit the website regularly in order to be informed about the age groups covered,” the announcement read.
