BoC receives four honours at 2022 Digital Finance Awards

Finance pioneer Bank of Cyprus (BoC) has been recognised for its digital transformation, as well as its innovative digital products and systems, confirming in the best way possible that the lender provides customers with highest-quality services.

Specifically, BoC captured four awards for its pioneering projects and initiatives in the digital transformation of Cyprus’ financial sector at the ‘Digital Finance Awards 2022’ that were held in Athens.

Bank of Cyprus won the Gold Award for:

• Μost innovative branch in Cyprus
• Digital Onboarding on BoC Mobile Banking App
• Motor and Home Insurance via BoC Mobile Banking App

BoC also received the Bronze Award for its Mobile Banking App in the Best Mobile App category.

“The Bank of Cyprus awards confirm our continuous efforts to adopt innovative tools and services/products that lead the Group to the next day of digital transformation,” said Acting Chief Digital Officer Demetris Nicolaou, remarking on the honours.

“We hope and work in this direction so that the Group opens wide the horizons for the new digital era in Cyprus,” he added. “Digital banking is here to stay and is constantly evolving, at the same time being the starting point for more digital tools and channels.”
