President Nicos Anastasiades is expected to travel to Athens on Friday to discuss issues of mutual interest with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
In a statement, government spokesman Marios Pelekanos said the meeting is to take place at noon, a day before the 14th Conference of New Democracy party on Saturday.
During the meeting, the two leaders will discuss the Cyprus issue and the situation in Ukraine as well as other issues, the statement added.
The president will also address the conference at the invitation of Mitsotakis.
He will return to Cyprus on Saturday afternoon.
