Man charged after attacking another in crash with his wife

A man has been charged for causing actual bodily harm after he allegedly attacked a driver who was involved in a road accident on Sunday with his wife.

According to police, two cars were involved in the accident on Sunday morning in Paphos, one driven by a 42-year-old man and the other by a woman.

After calling him to let him know about the accident, the woman’s husband went to the scene and in the presence of police officers, who were already there, allegedly attacked and punched the other driver, causing injury to his eye.

The husband was arrested and charged with actual bodily harm and then released. He will appear in court at a later date.

The cause of the accident is being investigated.
