Man arrested for forging documents to secure employment

A 48-year-old man has been arrested after he was allegedly caught using forged documents to work in Limassol, police said on Wednesday.

The man was employed by a construction company whose owner reported to the police that the suspect had presented them with a residence permit and had signed an employment form with false personal details.

Police arrested the man on Tuesday.

He is facing charges of forgery, circulation of a forged document, impersonation and illegal employment.
