Thursday will be mainly fine with temperatures about 2C above the seasonal average at 37C inland, remaining at the same levels on Friday.

According to the early morning forecast issued by the met office, temperatures on Thursday will reach 37C inland, around 34C on the south, east and north coasts, around 32C on the west coasts and 27C in the higher mountains.

The weather will be mainly fine on Thursday night, with temperatures of 24C inland and on the coasts and around 19C in the higher mountains.

Friday will start off mainly fine but clouds that develop later in the day may lead to scattered showed inland and in the mountains early in the afternoon. There will be intervals of light dust in the atmosphere. Late at night, the weather will become partly cloudy with the possibility of scattered showers or storms. Temperatures are expected to remain at the same levels.

Saturday and Sunday will be mainly fine with temperatures set to edge down on Saturday to the seasonal average but rising again to above average on Sunday.
