Earthquake felt in Paphos

An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale was felt by people in Paphos at lunchtime.

The quake hit at 12.50 with an epicentre some 26km off the coast.

The quake had a depth of 40km.

Residents in Emba and Peyia said they felt shaking for two minutes.

No damages have been recorded.

Earlier in the day quakes between 2 and 3 on the scale were recorded but were not felt by residents.
