Fire damages two cars in Aradippou

A fire broke out in a vehicle on Monday in Aradippou, Larnaca, causing extensive damage and burning a second car behind it, the fire service said.

According to the fire service, the blaze broke out around 5:18am in a vehicle that was parked outside a home in Aradippou.

Police and the fire officers responded, with the latter bringing two engines to extinguish the blaze.

The fire service said that they successfully put out the blaze by 5:50am and that a second car had also been damaged as it was parked near the vehicle that caught fire.

Authorities are continuing investigations into the cause of the fire.
