Man assaulted, robbed as he leaves betting shop

A 40-year-old man was assaulted and robbed in Limassol as he left the betting shop he worked at, police said on Monday.

According to police, on Sunday night at 11:40pm the man was assaulted by two people, who pushed him to the ground and stole the folder he was carrying.

The two individuals, that the man was unable to identify, were waiting for the 40-year-old outside the betting shop.

They stole €1,800 and a laptop and got away.
