A 35-year-old has been arrested in Limassol, police said on Monday, suspected of copyright infringement for selling television subscriptions in Cyprus from a company abroad which he had no right to sell.

Police found the suspect, who was a director at the company, after receiving witness testimony after a complaint was received by the electronic crime unit.

During investigations, police seized the suspect’s mobile phones, computers, and decoders as evidence.

Limassol police are continuing their investigations.
