Larnaca extends deadline for local taxes

Larnaca municipality has extended the deadline for all taxes until the end of January, it said in an announcement on Saturday.

Taxes concerning rubbish collection, the cemetery tax, property maintenance and any other taxes owed for 2022 can be paid until January 31, 2023 without any penalty.

Starting February 1, a 10 per cent penalty will be imposed.

Payments can be made at the municipal citizens centre until January 31, and through JCC until January 30.

For 2021 payments can only be paid at the municipal citizens centre.
