Arrangements made for Larnaca marina to be open on Epiphany

The Larnaca marina will be open to the public during the celebration of the Epiphany on January 6, an announcement released by the town’s municipality said on Thursday.

“Kition Ocean Holdings, which runs the construction works at the town’s marina, has made the appropriate arrangements to allow the public to enter the dock on Friday, during the Consecration of the Waters on Epiphany Day,” the statement said.

The municipality also added that some roads will be closed during the day in order to make space for the religious procession starting from the Ayios Lazaros church.

Specifically, Athinon Avenue will be closed from 10pm on Thursday until 4pm on Friday, Ayios Lazaros square and the streets around it will also be closed on Friday from 7am until 1pm.

Cars parked on roads closed to the traffic on Friday will be towed, the municipality added.
