A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle along the Nicosia-Kokkinotrimithia highway resulting in a serious incident, with both lanes towards Troodos closed by the police.
The force announced that the incident occured at about 6:50pm and have urged the public to be extremeley cautious.
The police explained that traffic is being diverted via the Kokkinotrimithia roundabout.
