Blood banks across the country will operate normally during the scheduled nationwide three-hour strike set to take place on Thursday.

An announcement specified that due to the high demand for blood and low supplies, blood banks will operate and continue unaffected by the strike.

The strike is set to take place between 12-3pm. Members of the public are urged to donate blood.
