Centre of Performing Arts MITOS collaborates with Marilena Kyriacou and Yiannis Charilaou to present an interactive performance and open mic night. On Saturday, the Vinegar Factory in Limassol will host the two facilitators and performers who will put on a unique evening for audience members.

“The stage is yours once again,” say organisers. “This time we’re exploring our experiences during our formative years of childhood and adolescence. The contradiction between the careless years promised by societal norms and the reality most LGBTQIA+ people experience. Along with you, we are creating a safe space where we are sharing our stories, our hopes, our survival, and our healing processes. We welcome any type of verbal or non-verbal performance. Hate speech and discriminatory language will not be tolerated during this event.”

The open mic night is supported by Queer Collective CY and is completely free to attend. Those interested in performing something can pre-register via the link on MITOS’ Facebook page or register in person at the event.
