Cruise ship makes Paphos port of call

Cruise ship Europa 2, flying the Maltese flag, arrived on Tuesday morning at Kato Paphos port with 477 passengers.

Port authorities said the cruise ship is on a journey through the Mediterranean and Aegean seas.

The passengers – hailing from nations such as Germany, Austria and Switzerland – had the opportunity to disembark and explore local sites including archaeological areas, churches, monasteries and other points of interest.

Europa 2 is scheduled to depart later Tuesday night with its next destination being the Greek island of Symi.
