Police seeking woman for suspected fraud

Famagusta police on Tuesday were seeking to identify a woman in relation to a case of extortion with false representations.

According to the data under investigation, around 5.40pm on Monday the suspect went to a kiosk in the Famagusta district, where she allegedly stole and used for purchases the details of a prepaid card sold at the kiosk.

Anyone with more information, who can help identify or locate her, can contact Famagusta CID at 23803040, the citizens’ hotline at 1460, or their nearest police station.
