Two arrests at Paphos supermarket

Police in Paphos on Tuesday took into custody two burglary suspects, found in possession of tools and suspected stolen items.

According to the police, at 6.40pm a tip off was received about two suspicious people in a supermarket in Paphos.

Police arrived at the scene to find the door to the supermarket’s basement broken and located the two suspects, aged 34 and 37, inside.

In a search, police found the suspects in possession of burglary tools and items believed to be stolen.

The two were arrested and taken into custody.
