‘Future Nostalgia’ Misfit Street Party

The iconic Nostalgia Parties – as of late organised with Misfit Union – tend to treat partygoers to the very best of 80s, 90s and 00s music. Hence the use of the word ‘nostalgia’. For their upcoming fiesta though, they are taking a different route, mixed with their signature party recipe.

On Friday, June 2, at the Misfit Union venue in Engomi, the organisers present for the first time the Future Nostalgia party, an event that celebrates music less of the past and more of right now. “Most of us may agree pop music just ain’t what it used to be,” say organisers, “but there’s a lot of great music still coming out! So, we felt like going a bit more modern for this one, playing the best of 2010-2023 and what we believe will be some of the classics of the future! A party dedicated to those who love the great pop songs of our times, and to those curious to discover some of the best tunes of the past decade!”

The street party will kick off at 7pm and until midnight DJs Bkas and Claudio will play party tunes and dance hits of today and recent decades. What’s more, Future Nostalgia will once again be hosted in collaboration with Misfit Union which will provide the food options for the evening, so no hungry stomachs are left on the dancefloor.
