Second arrest in motorbike theft case

Police arrested a 35-year-old woman on Monday for a case of motorcycle theft.

According to the police, another 28-year-old person is already in custody for the case, while two others, aged 20 and 23 are being sought.

The burglary was committed between May 20 and 21 in Paphos when two racing motorcycles with a total value of €19,000 were stolen.

On Saturday, the 28-year-old appeared before the Paphos district court, which issued a five-day detention order against him to facilitate investigations.

It is expected that on Tuesday the 35-year-old will also appear before court in order to secure a detention order for further investigation of the case.
