A high-power bomb exploded at a house in Tersefanou on Sunday morning, police said.

No-one was injured in the explosion, at 4.20am, despite the fact the family was at home.

But it did damage the main entrance to the house as well as some of the indoor furniture.

“It appears that a high-powered explosive was used which was detonated with a slow burn,” police said.

The owner of the house said she did not suspect anyone of carrying out the attack.
