Limassol police on Wednesday took into custody another suspect for an investigated case of importation of 100g of cannabis resin, for which a 34-year-old was already issued a seven-day detention order earlier in the day.

In the course of investigating, police obtained testimony against a 35-year-old, also a Limassol resident, who was arrested and taken into custody.

The first suspect was arrested on the basis of a court warrant, following customs office inspection of a package which police had traced to a post office box belonging to him.

In a subsequent search of the first suspect’s home more cannabis, weighing approximately 1.4g, was found.
