A minute with Pascale Farah Candle maker and owner of Pixie Flames

minute

Where do you live?
I am currently living in Nicosia, Cyprus.

What did you have for breakfast?
I usually have something light to start the day, such as oats with banana and cinnamon on top.

Describe your perfect day
My perfect day would be going to my current job and after, coming back home and working on my candles with calming music in the background and a warm cup of hot cocoa, while my dog Cayden enjoys eating his favourite treats.

Best book ever read?
The Bible, no doubts about it! My parents raised me well by reading the Bible together with my two brothers every night since I was little, praying and teaching us how to be good human beings, have faith with good and big hearts!

Best childhood memory?
Spending time with my grandparents. One childhood memory would be my grandma Nada taking me to the kiosk, holding my hand and buying me notebooks, coloured pencils and sweets every single time I would see her!

What is always in your fridge?
Oh, that’s easy! Chocolates of course!

What music are you listening to in the car at the moment?
90s music, NSYNC and Backstreet Boys! I have officially transformed my car into my dream stage!

What’s your spirit animal?
Cheetah! Cheetahs are fast, goal oriented, passionate, fast thinking, protective animals!

What are you most proud of?
My parents and turning my dream into reality of having my own small business, Pixie Flames, that I started on my own from scratch!

What movie scene has really stayed with you?
A scene from A Walk To Remember where Jamie reveals the secret of her having leukemia to Landon. Sometimes we either don’t know what the other is going through or we underestimate the power and strength of going through a difficult time, but we keep a smile on our faces and a golden heart.

If you could pick anyone at all (alive or dead) to go out for the evening with, who would it be?
My grandma Nada!! I would give anything to go out with her for the evening!

If you could time travel when/where would you go?
I would go back to the time when Jesus was in Jerusalem, just to sit next to Him and hear Him preach!

What is your greatest fear?
Not being there for the people that I love dearly or end up losing them.

What would you say to your 18-year-old self?
Family is your number 1 priority, to love yourself more and to not be harsh on myself!

Name the one thing that would stop you dating someone
Not being respectful!

If the world is ending in 24 hours what would you do?
I would drop everything and be next to my family and loved ones.
