Five scholarships on offer for potential young farmers

The ministry of agriculture announced on Tuesday it will be awarding five scholarships to newly admitted students in the 2023/24 academic year, in a bid to get more young people involved in agriculture.

The scholarships will be awarded using funds from the national Recovery and Resilience Plan and will cover all directions of study related to the science of agricultural production, animal husbandry, dairying, or food science and technology.

The application period is from November 11, 2023 to January 31, 2024, inclusive.

Applications can be delivered to the head office of the ministry’s department of agriculture, sent via email to [email protected], or sent by courier or posted to the address Department of Agriculture, Louki Akrita, 1412 Nicosia.
