Over a hundred saplings to ‘green’ Ayia Napa

Over a hundred tree saplings were planted in the Ayia Napa sculpture park.

In a statement the Ayia Napa municipality thanked the staff of the Mermaid hotel who carried out the planting on Monday.

The municipality’s cultural officer Maria Tofini Tsantila congratulated the staff for their initiative saying that the trees in the sculpture park “contribute to its further enrichment with greenery.”

She expressed special thanks to the president of the hotel managers’ association, Christos Angelides, who attended event and participated in the planting.
