Woman in critical condition in Limassol

A 45-year-old woman was critically injured and transported to a private clinic in Limassol around 3pm on Wednesday.

Reports indicate the woman suffered a head injury, prompting an immediate notification to the police by the hospital.

The 45-year-old, according to reports a Ukrainian national and a mother, suffered a brain haemorrhage and underwent surgery. Her current condition remains critical.

According to information provided to the police, the woman woke up on Wednesday feeling unwell, prompting the ambulance call.

The residence is currently under police guard as investigations continue. A forensic examiner is also expected to investigate the incident.
