A minute with Nicos Georgiou Professional Singer

minute

Where do you live?
I live on my own in Nicosia

What did you have for breakfast?
To be honest I never have breakfast, but coffee is a must.

Describe your perfect day
A perfect day for me is to wake up in the afternoon, have a good workout and then go to work to sing.

Best book ever read?
My favourite book was Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. I like these kind of self-improvement/business books.

Best childhood memory?
My favourite memory was when I sang in Nava in 2019 and it was when I sang my first ever released song. People were so loving and cheering. They were shouting my name out loud. The love I received from my fans at that moment made me tear up and I will never forget that.

What is always in your fridge?
Burgers to be honest

What music are you listening to in the car at the moment?
My favourite songs that I listen to when I am in my car are my three songs that I have released.

What’s your spirit animal?
My spirit animal is the horse because is always brave and strong.

What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of my music career. I’ve put so much effort in to it and I am proud to see it flourishing every day. It is something that I’ve been doing on my own, without anyone’s help, so I am proud to say that I have been doing a very good job and I see it when I go on stage and receive all that love from my fans. It makes me feel extremely proud.

What movie scene has really stayed with you?
My favourite scene is from a series called Peaky Blinders, when Tommy said to his brother that they should stop fighting and become one again. It was so touching and it stayed with me.

If you could pick anyone at all (alive or dead) to go out for the evening with, who would it be?
That person for me would be Pantelis Pantelides. I would love to meet him, sit down and talk with him. There are so many things I could learn from him.

If you could time travel when/where would you go?
I would go back to 2019 when I was singing in Nava. I would love to go back and re-live that life changing experience that I mentioned before.

What is your greatest fear?
My greatest fear is to lose someone I really love and care about.

What would you say to your 18-year-old self?
I would say to be more focused to my goals and dreams rather to what other people say and think about me.

Name the one thing that would stop you dating someone
That would be her past. If I knew she had a bad reputation or she did something wrong in the past, that would definitely stop me from dating a woman.

If the world is ending in 24 hours what would you do?
There would be a million things I would want to do but if I had to choose one thing it would be for me to go to my parents and spend the last 24 hours with them and tell them how much I love them and how much they mean to me.
