Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos is to travel to Slovenia on Friday on the invitation of his Slovenian counterpart Tanja Fajon.

While in Slovenia, Kombos is set to discuss matters including bilateral relations between Cyprus and Slovenia, issues related to the European Union and its agenda, the Cyprus problem, and developments in the Middle East.

He is set to hold a private meeting with Fajon, before there will be “extended consultations” between delegations of the Cypriot and Slovenian Foreign ministries.

At the end of those meetings, Kombos will be received by Slovenian President Natasa Pirc Musar and Slovenian Parliament Speaker Urska Klakocar Zupancic.
