Larnaca district court remanded a 26-year-old man for eight days on Wednesday following the discovery of a suitcase containing 17kgs of cannabis at Larnaca airport.
During the investigation of the case, testimony emerged against the 26-year-old, who was arrested Tuesday evening and placed in custody.
Investigations into the matter are still underway.
