startup internship

The Research and Innovation Foundation (Idek) on Wednesday released a statement disclosing the list of 61 companies where students will have the opportunity to apply for internships, lasting six weeks, between June 3, 2024, and September 30, 2024.

The list includes information about the companies, the period during which each company can employ students, and the minimum required qualifications.

According to the announcement, both undergraduates and postgraduates, regardless of their year of study, can participate in the programme. In addition, there is also the possibility of participation for students from abroad.

For participation, students must directly contact the company by submitting a CV, along with a copy of their degree certificate or enrollment certificate.

Subsequently, companies will select students, taking into account their response to required qualifications, CV, and candidate interviews.

The deadline for students who wish to express interest is June 2, 2024. According to the foundation, the selection of individuals by participating companies should be completed by June 3, 2024.

It should be noted that every student selected to participate in the programme will have the opportunity to receive a grant of €1,400 from the foundation, upon completion of the internship and submission of an activity report. The programme is funded by the Republic of Cyprus.

For more information, interested parties can contact the Idek service centre at 22-205000 or via email at [email protected].
