Dear editor,

Whoever I speak to in Nicosia , be it a store keeper or a taxi driver, we are all of the opinion that “Why on earth did we elect this man as president?!”

Do we honestly deserve the constant bad luck of the last 15 years or so – one disastrous president after another?

Such incompetence, such lies, such procrastination!

And it doesn’t seem to matter what political party!

Is there no one out there to save us?

How about a woman!

I can think of many capable women!
