Eight people found to be living and working illegally in Paphos were arrested on Wednesday morning, according to a police bulletin.
Officers of the migration department pulled over a bus after receiving a tip off. All eight individuals worked in tourist shops in Paphos.
They are three men and five women whose paperwork was inspected and were found to be living and working in Cyprus illegally.
Procedures will begin to deport them, and their employer will be charged for illegal employment.
