More storms are expected to hit Cyprus on Sunday after the battering parts of the island faced on Saturday evening and into the night, with rain, hail, thunder, and lightning all possible across swathes of the island.
The storms are largely expected to impact the mountains, inland regions, and the south and east coasts.
Temperatures will still rise to 27 degrees Celsius inland, 25 degrees Celsius on the coasts, and 15 degrees Celsius in the mountains.
Overnight, the weather will be largely clear, with temperatures set to drop to 15 degrees Celsius inland and on the west and north coasts, 17 degrees Celsius on the south and east coasts, and eight degrees Celsius in the mountains.
The possibility with rain and storms will remain through Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with temperatures expected to continue to gradually drop through the week.
