For several years I have enjoyed tuning in at mid-day of weekdays to hear a CyBC radio programme of classical music presented in English by Saskia Constantinou. This programme which was of two hours duration covered a large spectrum of the classical scene and was presented in a knowledgeable manner. Sadly for some inexplicable reason this programme appears to have been cut to one hour only which seems quite inadequate for presentation of operatic and symphonic works which were so much enjoyed. A sad loss indeed to those who listen to this wonderful music in English.
