Top App Games, a mobile game developer headquartered in Cyprus, has secured $10 million in funding to bolster its hit strategy RPG, Ludus: Merge Arena, and to spearhead the development of new titles.

The funding marks a pivotal milestone for the studio, which has seen remarkable growth in both revenue and player engagement.

Known for its innovative blend of real-time player-versus-player (PvP) strategy and card-based RPG elements, Ludus: Merge Arena achieved over $2 million in monthly revenue and surpassed 3 million downloads this year.

In addition, the game saw an impressive 50 per cent increase in daily active users during October alone, reflecting its growing appeal among casual and competitive gamers worldwide.

The company has announced plans for significant global updates aimed at enhancing the player experience.

The funding round was led by Vladimir Nikolsky, a prominent investor and the former CEO of MY.GAMES.

In an official announcement, Nikolsky lauded Top App Games’ potential to evolve into a billion-dollar enterprise.

“The funding will be used to improve and promote our hit strategy RPG Ludus, which we will continue to develop and grow its revenues,” stated Vladimir Markov, CEO of Top App Games.

“Moreover, I believe our studio is now ready to attract new teams to create hit games,” he added.

Founded in 2024, Top App Games Ltd. has carved a niche in the mobile gaming sector with its emphasis on strategic gameplay and innovation.

Top App Games has said that “the success of Ludus has pushed Top App Games to pursue more ambitious projects and markets, including expanding its presence on a global platform”.

Among these is a soon-to-be-announced title promising a humorous twist on genre conventions.
