Deep into Christmas week, there is a lot happening this season and even more coming our way next year. As 2025 rolls in, a new wave of events and cultural happenings hit the island and one music event promises to be a summer highlight!
Acclaimed English synth-pop duo Hurts is set to captivate audiences with a live performance at ETKO in Limassol on July 19. Known for their emotive melodies and compelling stage presence, Hurts has garnered a global following since their formation in Manchester in 2009.
Comprised of vocalist Theo Hutchcraft and multi-instrumentalist Adam Anderson, Hurts has released five studio albums, including their debut Happiness and the latest Faith. Their music seamlessly blends synth-pop and electropop genres, delivering hits like Wonderful Life and Stay.
The concert will take place at ETKO, a historic venue in the Limassol industrial port area. Originally established as Cyprus’ first winery in 1844, ETKO has transformed into a vibrant cultural hub, hosting a variety of events.
This concert marks a significant addition to ETKO’s diverse event line-up, offering both locals and tourists an opportunity to experience Hurts’ dynamic live performance in a unique setting that embodies Cyprus’ cultural evolution. Though it is still early, tickets and general admission are already on sale on the ETKO Cyprus website.
