A further two robbery cases carried out by people on a motorcycle are under investigation in Limassol, police said on Friday.
Both victims were approached by two individuals on a motorcycle on Thursday, when the perpetrators snatched their bags and fled.
The first victim was a 60-year-old woman, standing outside of an apartment building around 1.30pm when she reported she was attacked by the motorcycle passenger, who hit her in the stomach and grabbed her bag.
Ten minutes earlier a 86-year-old woman reported she was outside a shop, when a motorcycle approached her, the people on it took her bag and pushed the woman over. The men took her bag containing money and her personal belongings.
She was taken to the Limassol general hospital where she was diagnosed with a fractured femur.
The robberies follow incidents over the long weekend, when two people reported being robbed by suspects on a motorcycle.
