The new generation of the MINI Cooper Cabrio completes the current MINI range. A model with a distinctive personality, it perfectly embodies the brand’s open and adventurous spirit. The body of this open-top four-seater combines compact proportions with an exciting, fun-to-drive experience under the open sky. As one of the most emotionally-engaging models in the new MINI family, the MINI Cooper Cabrio allows both driver and passengers to enjoy a direct connection to nature at any moment.

Its design highlights the character of the new MINI Cooper Cabrio through clean surfaces and striking details. The round LED headlights and redesigned front grille enhance the model’s aesthetic appeal. A variety of exterior and interior colour options and fresh styling touches reinforce the Cabrio’s unique MINI identity. Despite its compact dimensions—3,879 mm in length, 1,431 mm in height, and 1,744 mm in width—the streamlined body design gives the MINI Cooper Cabrio an elegant silhouette and a bold presence. The new Cabrio is offered with aerodynamically optimised wheels, ranging from 16-18 inches, depending on the model version.

Inside, the focus is on minimalist details and fabric surfaces. This aligns with MINI’s new design philosophy, “Charismatic Simplicity”, which characterises the entire MINI family through reduced elements, intelligent design and premium craftsmanship. Three key features define the cockpit: the sporty steering wheel, a central OLED display and a newly-designed toggle bar.

The high-quality 9.5-inch display allows both driver and passenger to control all vehicle functions comfortably, via touch or voice commands. The innovative MINI Operating System 9 enhances connectivity and brings smartphone apps and digital content directly to the display. This turns the MINI Interaction Unit into a central hub for convenience and user experience.

Meanwhile, the high-quality soft top protects occupants in all weather conditions. Thanks to its electric mechanism, the convertible roof can be fully opened in just 18 seconds, even while driving at speeds up to 30 km/h. It can be closed in just 15 seconds at the push of a button. The fully-automatic roof offers two modes: a sunroof-style opening or full retraction—an exclusive feature in the premium small car segment. Additionally, an integrated rollover protection system hidden behind the rear headrests automatically activates if the central safety electronics detect a rollover risk.

With the soft top open, the luggage compartment provides 160 litres of space, supported by a folding mechanism. When the roof is closed, luggage capacity increases to 215 litres.

Three advanced 2.0-litre petrol engines are available for the new MINI Cooper Cabrio. At the entry level is the MINI Cooper C Cabrio, delivering 163 hp and 250 Nm of torque. The performance-enhanced MINI Cooper S Cabrio offers 204 hp and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds, with 300 Nm of torque and a top speed of 237 km/h. Beyond these versions, the high-performance JCW (John Cooper Works) variant is focused on sporty driving and maximum fun, delivering 231 hp and 300 Nm of torque.
