On Friday, February 20, the non-profit organisation Andreas Sofocleous Centre for Provision of Social Services (KEPAKY) awarded an honorary distinction to the Lidl Cyprus team, recognising the company’s substantial and consistent contribution to the Organisation’s social work. This marks the second time that Lidl Cyprus has received this recognition, which underlines the depth and consistency of this long-standing relationship.
At the core of the collaboration is the “Yellow Line” campaign, an initiative that offers food support, dignity and substantial relief to families facing serious socio-economic difficulties. Through its systematic support of the campaign, Lidl Cyprus actively contributes to meeting basic needs and enhancing the sense of security and care for dozens of households.

The partnership between the two organisations already spans more than three years of continuous contribution, based on trust, consistency and humanity. This collaboration is another living example of how the private sector and social actors can join forces with a common goal of supporting society.
The award confirms that the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility is not a theoretical commitment but translates into action with a measurable social footprint. Lidl Cyprus proves daily that business success can and must coexist with social sensitivity, offering a true helping hand to those in need.
