The Nicosia district government on Monday conducted an inspection of the site of a building which collapsed in Nicosia’s old town, saying afterwards that the building appears not to have undergone necessary maintenance.
Additionally, a civil engineer from the district government inspected neighbouring buildings to ensure their structural soundness in the aftermath of the collapse.
