Paphos is expected to have now reached full operational readiness, with almost all hotel accommodation and key tourism infrastructure functioning normally, according to an announcement by the Paphos regional board of tourism (Etap .
Based on current data and business planning, hotels in the district are gradually reopening as part of the start of the new tourism season.
Approximately 25,000 beds out of a total of 30,000 will be in operation by the end of March, the board said, reflecting a steady return to activity across the hospitality sector.
At the same time, the broader tourism ecosystem in the region is returning to operation, including restaurants, attractions, museums, tourism services and activities.
Airport connectivity is also showing a strong performance, with around 95 per cent of scheduled flights operating normally, ensuring smooth access for visitors from key international markets.
This development, Etap said, “confirms the strong momentum of Paphos as a destination and highlights the readiness of all stakeholders and tourism professionals to welcome visitors”.
The organisation stated that visitors will be “offered high levels of service and authentic experiences throughout the year“.
It added that “Paphos continues to invest in the qualitative upgrade of its tourism product, aiming to enhance visitor experience and competitiveness”.
“The region is also strengthening its position as a modern and attractive year-round destination in the Mediterranean,” the organisation concluded.
