A 23-year-old man was on Thursday ordered to will face trial next month over two separate assaults on police officers in Limassol on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Police said the first incident occurred on Tuesday evening when officers were called to a shop after an alarm was triggered.

The man was taken to Limassol general hospital but refused medical examination. Two police officers were also treated for minor injuries and discharged.
The next day, police responded to reports of a disturbance at a Limassol property involving the same individual.
Officers said he shouted, threw furniture, and caused concern while intoxicated.
When approached, he allegedly refused to cooperate, insulted officers, and resisted arrest, striking two policemen.
The officers received treatment at hospital and were discharged.
The suspect appeared before Limassol district court, where the case was registered to begin on May 15.
