As September rolls in, new events and initiatives arrive, in a way, reassuring culture lovers that the local entertainment scene is alive and buzzing this month as well.

Approaching soon, is the start of a new event series, Village Nights, which is set to bring people together for great nights of music, dancing, food and drinks in a unique setting.

It’s first event, Village Nights – Under the Stars – 80s & 90s DJ Disco Night, promises an evening where boogieing to retro music is the number one thing on the agenda. The Psematismenos Cultural Centre will host the event on September 12, with the doors opening at 7pm.

From 8pm until midnight, music selections will take party-goers back to the era of the 80s and 90s, playing some of the most loved dance hits of the two decades. In community spirit, the event will highlight Cypriot businesses, serving drinks from KEO, as well as Teo Ice Tea, and finger food from Mighty Kitchen.
