A fire broke out in a car in the Paphos district village of Tremithousa during the early hours of Monday morning.

According to the police, the fire broke out at around 4.30am, with officers arriving on the scene shortly afterwards to begin their investigations into the matter.

The police have not yet disclosed the extent of the damage sustained by the vehicle, while the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
