A fire on Sunday at Koloni location on the border with the Akamas national forest park burned two hectares of wild vegetation.

The fire started at 6.55pm and was placed under control at 7.30pm by nine forestry department firefighters with four fire engines.

Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
