Police are investigating a robbery after a 23-year-old food delivery driver was attacked in the Ayios Sylas area of Limassol in the early hours of Saturday.

According to a complaint made to police, the man was in the area at around 1.30am to deliver an order when he was approached by two unidentified young men.

The pair allegedly assaulted him before taking the food order, his mobile phone and cash, before fleeing.

The delivery driver suffered abrasions to his hands during the attack.

Limassol police are investigating the case.
