Man arrested after damaging parked cars

Police on Saturday night arrested a man who appeared to have damaged four cars while he was under the influence of drugs.

According to police, the incident happened late on Saturday afternoon when the Paphos resident started to cause a nuisance, half dressed in a central residential area of Paphos.

Residents of the area called the police, who immediately went to the scene.

He damaged parked cars in the area, breaking windscreens and injuring himself.

He was taken to accident and emergency at Paphos hospital, where he received treatment before being arrested.

Police are continuing their enquiries.
