Coronavirus: Retirement home charged for letting in visitor

A Paphos retirement home was fined €500 on Wednesday after a visitor was allowed to enter the premises by the manager.

The visitor was fined €300.

Under coronavirus decrees, visits to retirement homes are not allowed.

In the past 24 hours, another 26 individuals were booked for failing to obtain a permit for movement.

On Wednesday, 174 rapid tests were carried out in retirement home in Paphos but no positive case was identified.
